In the heart of Sydney's CBD

Welcome to our original Sydney treatment premises. Our treatment suite is private and easily accessed in the iconic Dymocks building, which is conveniently located in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

The map below helps you to easily locate us, and indicates nearby public transport points for gaining quick access to the Dymocks building where you can take a lift or escalator to our Permanence reception area at Suite 5 on level 3.

Of course, you can call us at any time on 02 9221 8594 to discuss your needs and answer any queries you may have.  And, at any time, you are also welcome to schedule a free, no obligation consultation time to come in and meet with us. This will allow us to personally discuss your treatment hopes and goals, and to explain what we do and show you our treatment facilities.

We look forward to talking with you about how we can give you a hair-free future, when you are ready.

I would like to highly recommend the Permanence Sydney City clinic for professional and effective electrolysis hair... removal.I have recently completed an almost two year consult to remove a full ginger/white beard at a cost of approximate $12,000. I have been Trans for over twenty years and during that time my hair removal regime was waxing my face weekly. Over this two-year cycle I was treated by Louis one of the senior clinicians at the business. I found Louis to be the ultimate professional, patient and caring in his approach. He kept me fully informed of the progress and his communication was both helpful and honest. In general this treatment is uncomfortable and painful, but Louis is fully aware of this always and did his best to help me manage the discomfort. For the most painful areas around the mouth, the clinic was able to arrange a pre-treatment visit to a local dentist for a dental block.Of course, for us Trans women, this kind of ‘project’ is time consuming, painful and expensive. But the result is completely freeing, improves confidence and adds considerably to a successful transition - my thanks to all at Permanence.read more

Writing this because I have been a client of Permanence for nearly 6 years and have learnt a lot along the way! Hoping... this will help someone! I can honestly say this treatment has changed my life. I never thought permanent, safe hair removal was possible. All staff are extremely professional, skilled, hygienic, accommodating and attentive. I've had a variety of staff work on me and all are exceptional. I have never experienced any abnormal side effects. Healing is different person to person, I typically experience the regular, safe redness, swelling and scabs - which all calms down within a few days. After 48 hours everything calms down a lot. Ice a lot for the first two days and thickly lather the Witch Hazel and Calm Balm cream on, don't apply anything else if you can avoid it - esp for at least 12hrs - and keep your body cool. Calm Balm is an amazing cream. I've experimented with other oils/aleo vera/serums over time and honestly don't waste your time. Calm Balm is queen. Icing straight after is key. I ice for at least 1-2 hours after. My scabs take about 7-14 days to completely dissapear. Depends on the area and my healing is slightly different every time. I am very careful with my skin for several days after treatments which really helps - gentle, chemical-free all natural skincare products/cream cleansers/no sun/no excersise/keeping cool/regularly using the Witch Hazel & Calm Balm/Using the Witch Hazel straight after if I accidentally touch my skin to avoid infection (it's anti-viral and anti-inflammatory) staying hydrated/eating really clean/icing for several days/chemical free makeup. You want to keep your skin clean and use the Witch Hazel to avoid pimples - caused by infection. I only use cool water on the area - heat just makes it react. I drink a lot of water the day before, of, and after the treatment which helps my skin healing so much and makes my treatment less-reactive. Also, avoiding stimulants (especially coffee) on the day of treatment really helps lessen the pain. Make sure you have a good sleep the night before! I've been really sleep-deprived before a treatment and the pain was 5 times worse! I regularly take vitamin c, zinc and collagen which also aids my skin healing. Of course - this is all my own experience. Won't be the same for everyone. For me, it's a very small price to pay for the results and it's certainly worth it.
